Final creditors meeting will be held by electronic means, via the MS Teams communication platform on Monday (22 November) at 10:00 a.m.

A notice for the final creditor’s meeting of former bunkering firm Bomin Bunker Oil Pte Ltd. (Co. Reg. No.198100533E) has been posted on the Government Gazette on Friday (22 October).

In pursuant to Section 180 of the Insolvency Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018 (Act 40 of 2018) the final meeting will be held by way of electronic means, via audio-visual accessible through the Microsoft Teams communication platform on Monday (22 November) at 10:00 a.m.

The agenda(s) of the final meeting are:

Having the accounts laid before the member showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the Company disposed of and hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.
Resolving that the books and papers of the Company be retained for a period of 5 years from the date of dissolution and may be disposed of at the member’s discretion at any time after the expiration of that period.

A member entitled to attend and vote at the above meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote on his behalf. A proxy need not be a member of the Company.

The instrument appointing a proxy must be deposited at the office of the liquidator not less than 48 hours before the meeting.

A corporation which is a member of the company may by resolution of its directors, authorise any person to act as its representative at any meetings of the Company, and such representative shall be entitled to exercise the same powers on behalf of the corporation which he represents as if he had been an individual member of the company.
