Peninsula welcomes “Hercules Star” to bunkering fleet in Gibraltar

"Hercules Star", which has a cargo capacity of 8502 m3, is the firm’s latest vessel that arrived from Dayang Shipyard in China on 19 July.
International bunkering firm Peninsula on Wednesday (20 July) said it has taken delivery of bunker tanker Hercules Star in Gibraltar.
The firm’s latest vessel arrived in Gibraltar from Dayang Shipyard, China on 19 July.
Hercules Star has a cargo capacity of 8,502 cubic metre (m3) and an overall length of 114.99 m.
“We are very grateful to all those involved in this whole project, since the design phase, and all through its construction, from Steel Cutting back in mid-2020 to her recent delivery,” the firm said in a social media post.
“Our Lady will play a significant role in keeping our ‘EnergyFlowing’.”
