Total bunker sales at Panama was 382,955 mt in June, compared to sales of 433,973 mt during the similar period in 2022, according to PMA data.

Bunker fuel sales at Panama falls by about 11.8% in June 2023, according to the latest data from La Autoridad Maritima de Panama, also known as the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA).

Total bunker sales at Panama was 382,955 metric tonnes (mt) in June, compared to sales of 433,973 mt during the similar period in 2022.

In June 2023, the Pacific side of Panama posted bunker sales of 318,489 mt; 221,912 mt of VLSFO, 62,751 mt of RMG 380, 8,012 of marine gas oil (MGO), and 25,814 mt of low sulphur marine gas oil (LSMGO) were delivered.

The similar region saw total marine sales of 367,575 mt a year before on June; with VLSFO sales at 202,470 mt, RMG 380 sales at 123,678 mt, MGO sales at 3,411 mt, and 38,016 mt of LSMGO being sold.

Panama’s Atlantic side, meanwhile, recorded total bunker fuel sales of 68,846 during June 2023; the figure comprised 52,775 mt of VLSFO, 4,033 mt of RMG 380, 2,422 mt of MGO, and 5,236 mt of LSMGO.

It saw total sales of 66,398 mt in June a year before; with VLSFO sales of 55,844 mt, RMG 380 sales of 1,099, 5,795 mt of MGO, and LSMGO sales of 3,660 mt.
