Singapore: Marine fuel sales down 9.5% on year during November

Approximately 2.79 million mt of 380 cSt grade marine fuel was sold in the month, down 11.4% on year.

Marine fuel sales at Singapore port fell 9.5% on year in November, show Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data.

It posted bunker sales of 3.91 million metric tonnes (mt) in November 2018, lower than sales figures of 4.32 million mt in November 2017.

Specifically, 500 centistokes (cSt), 380 cSt and 180 cSt grade delivered figures in November 2018 (on year), was 823,800 mt (-8.4% from 899,000 mt), 2.79 million mt (-11.4% from 3.15 million mt), and 28,700 mt (+11.2% from 25,800 mt).

Low sulphur 500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt grades registered sales of 4,000 mt (+81.8% from 2,200 mt), 2,000 mt (-37.5% from 3,200 mt), and 40,200 mt (+286.5% from 10,400 mt).

Low sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) sales were recorded at 140,500 mt during November 2018, up 30.6% year on year from 107,600 mt, while MGO sales fell 4.8% on year from 59,800 mt to 56,900 mt.
